Set in a world populated by anthropomorphic food, Apple and Onion, a pair of childlike newcomers to the big city, attempt to fit in to their new surroundings.

The score of Apple and Onion is genre-hopping and unpredictable. It can range from club-rattling drum and bass to purposefully-painful elevator jazz in any given episode. Leitmotifs and “inside jokes” feature heavily, establishing recognizable themes for characters, ideas, and situations that lend heft to even the most absurd adventure.
